Speaking from his base in Turkey ahead of the all important tie against Gaziantepspor who are also battling against the drop, Oboabona who has three (3) assists so far this season, expressed the determination of his team, Rizespor to give everything in a bid to pocket the maximum points at stake.
"We are not happy with our position on the league table and we are determined to fight till the end to retain our status in the top flight".
"Our match tomorrow is very important as nothing short of victory is good enough in our battle against the drop, it's going to be difficult as our opponents are also fighting against the drop".
The former Sunshine Stars Captain who has featured 25 times this season for the Turkish club due to a 3- week injury layoff in the course of the season expressed confidence that Rizespor will beat the drop at the end of the season.
Rizespor are placing 16th on the 18 - team league table with 27 points from 31 games.
